Fly with the Cage is a welcoming exhibition for diverse voices to be heard and expressed through the arts, in Los Angeles, home to the largest Iranian population outside of Iran.

The last century has been a particularly tumultuous period in the history of Iran, with one upheaval of society and culture after another. As I set out to make a movie about "my place in this world," I realize that until I come to terms with that history, I won't be able to say much about anything at all.
