Flowers For Your Guns

Flowers For Your Guns is dedicated to Neda Agha-Soltan and all those who have died and struggled for democracy in Iran. This video is being released on Irans Annual Students Day, 16 Azar or December 7, which commemorates the 1953 killing of three university students by government officials. The youth of Iran are speaking, supported by millions around the world, for a new system in Iran, where human rights are respected, and where religion and politics are separate. The Islamic Revolution failed when it turned against its own people. With the death of peaceful protesters, the Iranian Government inflicted a fatal poison on itself and it is now dying. With each new spasm of violence against its citizens, we watch the regime weakening in its death throes...

A rebirth is happening in Iran, and destiny cannot be changed no matter how brutal the actions of those who have the guns. The Green Revolution, patterned after the Velvet Revolutions in Eastern Europe, cannot be stopped. We are all Neda, and this video demonstrates that YES, we will win.
