A little more than a week left to the screening in LA!

While sitting at my desk, viewing the beautiful Chicago day hoping for spring to finally show up, I find a very nice surprise! http://www.iranian.com/main/2009/apr/avisheh-mohsenin

Iranian.Com has kindly selected me as the 'Iranian of the Day' for the screening of Someplace Else at the 2009 LA Asian Pacific Film Fest and its nomination for Best Documentary at the Grand Jury Award at the festival.  It feels great, (who says vanity is not good!) and most improtantly gives me more for the buzz. The movie has done so good with its small budget and intimate crew. I am hoping to have a great turnout at the screening on May 1st in Los Angeles and to potentially secure some nice distribution deal(s)!
