Silkscreen. You've worn the t-shirts, seen silkscreen printing everywhere from historical propaganda posters to lettering on the walls of museums. Ever been tempted to tackle the process yourself but weren't quite sure how to get a toehold? Master screen printer Karen Fiorito takes you through all the steps. Using imagery that you supply via a digital image you e-mail to us, you will be guided through the process of making a small edition of two-color silkscreen prints! You will take home an edition of approximately 10 prints of your own making in the Andy Warhol style, as pictured above. Please note - you will need to e-mail a scanned portrait that you'd like to emulate one week before the workshop starts. You may also submit a hard copy for scanning for an extra ($10) fee.
