Explore the heart of the African-American arts scene in Los Angeles, Leimert Park, and learn more about the Folk Art Everywhere project. The outing starts with a visit to the not-to-be-missed imaginative haven of artist Timothy Washington. We'll then head on a walking tour of Leimert Park's historic and uber-charming downtown including visits to our Folk Art Everywhere partners: Lucy Florence Cultural Center, Eso Won Books, and Adassa's Island Café.
Directions to the meeting spot will be provided when you RSVP. Transportation and lunch not included.
