Saturday, November 6 Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls led by Maria Galica 3:00-4:00pm Location: Mama’s Hot Tamales, MacArthur Park (2122 West 7th St.) A FREE, Family Event Decorate sugar skulls as part of the traditional Mexican holiday, Día de los muertos, or Day of the Dead. A mixture of Aztec and Catholic traditions, the holiday focuses on family and friends gathering to remember loved ones who have died. This workshop is just one of several Day of the Dead festivities happening that day in and around Mama’s Hot Tamales.
