Many of our readers are always seeking new websites to get new, progressive and creative information on the issues they care about. SOCIARTS has been working on two art-campaigns that each focus on a vital issue contemporary societies face today. Evolution Revolution: the Interconnectedness of all Beings is an art exhibition and campaign focusing on animal rights and welfare, and humans relationship to nature and the environment. The Holiwater Project is a multimedia performance and conference about water rights and advocacy. Both campaigns are designed to enhance the public's knowledge of each issue and help them make conscious decisions about changing their life-style for a more sustainable society.

This week, in light of our two campaigns, we wish to bring the following websites to our readers' attention. We think they are innovative, progressive and highly informative:

Food and Water Watch works to ensure the food, water and fish we consume is safe, accessible and sustainable.

Factory Farm Map is a project of Food and Water Watch which shows how factory farms have affected our lives.

Pursuit of Water is a global project focusing on world-wide social issues concerning water, and bringing change through creative and various means of media.

Pacific Institute works to create a healthier planet and sustainable communities, by conducting interdisciplinary research and partnering with stakeholders to produce solutions that advance environmental protection, economic development, and social equity—in California, nationally, and internationally.
