Frame Drum Workshop:
Survey of Middle Eastern Frame Drums and the Essential Frame Drum Method

In this Frame Drum Workshop you will become synchronized with the therapeutic roots of rhythm and discover unique self-expression and confidence.

You will learn:

1. Essential elements for playing a variety of Middle Eastern Frame Drums, including tambourine, dayereh and daf
2. Rhythms and songs from the Middle East and Balkans: play and sing simultaneously
3. Whole-brain, whole-body technique to access dormant potential
4. Deep rhythmic coordination through movement, voice, and the Frame Drum

* For beginners as well as advanced Frame Drummers ~ no previous experience required

Please bring with you if possible:
* Your own Frame Drum, shaker, and recording device
* Notebook and pencil

* A variety of Frame Drums and shakers will be provided for use and purchase, including Rowan Storm's signature Frame Drum: the Rowan Storm Dayereh by Cooperman Drum Company.
